First Federal Credit Union on 1st Avenue in Cedar Rapids was robbed again around 9 o'clock Thursday morning. Now the credit unions president is on a mission to find the robber.
Police are looking for a white man, six feet tall, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and tan work boots.
For tellers at First Federal Credit Union it was not just dj vu, though, many say, they wish it was. For the second time, they found themselves with a gun in their face and no choice but to get the cash out of the drawer.
First Federal was robbed back on July 30th and then, again, on Thursday. The robber walked into the credit union, pointing the gun directly at a customer. The robber then gives the tellers two old grocery sacks and tells them to fill them up with cash. He was in and out of the bank in less than a minute. His face was covered the entire time.
We do know that he had disgusting teeth. You could probably smell him coming in by his breath. He is an ugly individual, says Timothy Byers, the credit unions president.
Byers says his staff tells him they do not think the robber is the same man that robbed them back in July. They say there are too many discrepancies.
The robber and the cash still has not been found by police. There is still an unclaimed reward for the arrest of the previous robber and now there is a new reward.
You will collect a nice $50,000 Christmas prize, promises Byers, for any information that leads to the robbers arrest.Credit Union Robbed Twice in Four Months

Inmates assaulted officers at prison facility
November 20, 2009 17:36 EST
CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) -- The Iowa Department of Corrections is investigating a pair of assaults on officers at its Oakdale Medical and Classification Center near Coralville.
The department reported Friday that the attacks took place on Nov. 15 and are also being investigated by the Coralville Police Department.
Officials say that in one assault, 22-year-old convicted kidnapper and robber Earl Griffin punched a guard in the shoulder and face, harming the guard's teeth and blacking both of his eyes. The attack occurred shortly after Griffin had received his medication in the facility's pill line.
The department says that a short time later, 18-year-old convicted murderer Damion Seats punched another officer in the face and neck.
Both Griffin and Seats have since been transferred to the Iowa State Penitentiary.
