Comment: I am a disabled American. I suffer from anxiety and mood disorders, and smoking marijuana or vaporizing it helps me control my disability with no negative side effects. Prescribed MAOI'S have always come with negative side effects. by robert
Comment: The lack of regulation for a naturally occurring substance known to have medical benefits, not replicable by big-pharma, pushes people in need of care and compassion, in to a world of stereotype and potential exploitation that is both dangerous and immoral. The laws are way out of sync with the current workings of society.
Comment: if their doctor approves it and it helps with the pain and nausea i think yes it should be legal,we sell cigarettes knowing that it kills millions of people everyday yet we won't legalize something that could actually help people.
Comment: If they do it needs to be monitored much, much closer. I know one family where the mother/wife uses it. the oldest boy is in drugs, vandalized Church etc. always in trouble and this is all on record, the mother laughs about it. This has all happened with in the last couple of years. The Marijiana is miss used and should be eliminated in this case. I'm confident that this is not the only family like this and I strongly feel this type of cure for M/S should be handled differently. by Duckett

Comment: Maybe some people need to cowboy up and take it. by A.
Comment: My mother has bone cancer. Marijuana would help with the pain and also help her to gain weight. She is very petite and can't afford to drop any more weight. I think the marijuana would make her hungry and help numb the pain.
Those that want it will get it anyway, why not make it legal for those who can really use it? by Kelly

Comment: no, just gives them a reason to get high legally, and not worry about getting caught, i don't approve because not good for those who are healthy to breathe in a chemical that could harm others. by unannoymys
