NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks have edged higher after reports on housing, manufacturing and jobs indicated the economy continues to grow slowly.

Comment: The Governor is the same as many of todays elected officials.They are only thinking about themselves not of the people that elected them. The investment firm that he pushed a large amout of Ipers funds for them to manage to pay them back for campain funds have caused huge losses in the retirement fund for public officials by fradulant investments is only one item that he has been behind.
