If you are a flood victim and you need your lawn mowed there is help for you.
The east central Iowa volunteer center is organizing a day of yard clean-up and lawn mowing.
It will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. until p.m.
And volunteers can check-in to the Salem united Methodist church. Volunteer check-in: Salem United Methodist church, 221 First Ave. SW
If you plan on volunteering you should wear long sleeves, safety glasses, and closed-toed shoes.
Also-- gas weed eaters, mowers and rakes are needed.
