Message from The Owner - Wayne W. Winn

Hi, I'm Wayne, the owner of Home Town Restyling. I grew up on a farm just outside of Walker, Iowa and I now live in Cedar Rapids. You may have seen me on Television commercials or on KGAN Channel 2 as your "Midday Remodeler".

I have an extensive background in specialty remodeling and wanted to offer products, installation and service unique to the community, so in 1986 I rented a 400 sq. ft. building in Hiawatha for an office and rented a one stall garage to use as a warehouse. Home Town Restyling opened the doors with an original staff of just three employees - and within nine months we had grown to ten.

In 1988, Home Town Restyling added a second office in Iowa City. Shortly thereafter, more office space was needed and Home Town moved into its new office and showroom at their current location on the Coralville strip.

By 1989, we rented an additional 200 sq. ft. and moved our warehouse to a larger building. Our continuing growth made it possible for use to now employ 21 people.

In 1992, we purchased 1.74 acres of land on North Center Point Road in Hiawatha, where we began the construction of a new 11,000 square foot facility that included offices, a state-of-the-art showroom, and a large warehouse. We moved into our new facility in 1993, and we now employee 32
