A powerful storm is moving out of the Rockies and into the Midwest Friday night. Heavy snow is possible over western Iowa, but the eastern half of the state will be spared most of this storm's wrath. A mix of light rain and freezing rain is possible Friday night in the Corridor. Snow will begin mixing in overnight, but little accumulation is expected. Light rain and snow showers will continue Saturday before this storm lifts out of the state Saturday night. Drier weather returns for Sunday with highs in the 40s.
