DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Ryan Wedel had 15 points and Seth VanDeest added 13 to lead Drake to a 65-58 victory over Georgia State at the Glenn Wilkes Classic yesterday. Craig Stanley hit a pair of free throws to complete a short surge that put Drake ahead 49-35 nine minutes into the second half. VanDeest's short jumper made it 55-37 with seven minutes remaining.
