• POISONED PROMISES

We continue to hear about health problems in FEMA mobile homes.

Tuesday night, Chris Jose talked with a North Liberty woman who just got out of the hospital after suffering from symptoms similar to those created by formaldehyde exposure.

Kristie Blackburn has been in and out of the hospital for three weeks. She got out Tuesday afternoon.

Although she is a smoker, after seeing the Poisoned Promises investigation, she's convinced her FEMA mobile home is making her sick.

"I don't what where we're supposed to go," said Blackburn. "I don't even know if its safe to stay here until we have tested it for my children."

Blackburn says she will stay in a hotel in Coralville until she figures out where she'll live. She refuses to stay at her FEMA trailer.

"I'm scared to stay here," said Blackburn.Sick Woman Blames FEMA Trailer
